Get to know me
Hello!
In addition to my personal passion for art, professionally I design user experiences for digital applications and websites. I have worked in a variety of roles and strive for excellence in many disciplines from digital design and user experience to content strategy. Above all, the quality of my craft is my priority.
I've had the unique privilege to work on many diverse teams that are matrixed into talented digital product development departments. I enjoy wearing a lot of hats and helping drive the process with strategic planning, documentation, analytics, wireframing, storyboarding, user research, usability testing, journey mapping, creating personas, and creating design language systems… all to push concepts from paper to digital production with a user-centric focus.

Personality Type
Personality type doesn’t tell you everything about someone, but it can be a start in understanding their working style. I am an ENFJ according to a basic personality test.
While much of my work is independent, I thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy leading design strategy work during the planning phase of any project. My strong sense of empathy helps me understand the needs of who I am designing for while doing user research.
-
Toolbox
I’ve used a variety of design tools including Sketch, Zeplin, Overflow, Proto.io, InVision, etc., but my main toolkit these days consists of Figma for UI design and the Adobe suite for editing graphics. In addition, I’m familiar with a variety of analytic tools like Adobe Analytics, Tealeaf (IBM Certified), and Clarabridge.

Focus Areas
There are numerous areas of focus within the UX Design field. These range from understanding the problem and the solution, as well as balancing the needs of the user and the business.
I excel at putting the user’s needs first, while building strong cases for the best user experience for business owners and stakeholders.
I’ve found presenting this information in a format that tells a clear story and communicates phased approaches to solutions helps get designs to production without sacrificing quality.

My home team
I wouldn’t be anywhere without my team at work, but my family team at home is especially important to me. These are my favorite people, and while they don’t work with me directly on digital designs, they make my life complete and are often at the center of my artwork.
Fair warning: the dog is quite old and will be nearby (and likely snoring) for all remote conference calls.
